Nene Molefi
Nene Molefi is one of South Africa’s foremost leadership strategists, organisational culture specialists and systems transformation practitioners. With nearly three decades of experience advising executive teams, boards, government institutions and multinational organisations, she has dedicated her career to helping leaders build inclusive, high-performing and ethical organisations where people and businesses flourish.
As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mandate Molefi HR Consultants, she has led large-scale organisational transformation, leadership development, culture change, diversity and inclusion, and psychological safety initiatives across the public and private sectors. Her work spans financial services, mining, retail, manufacturing, education, the judiciary and international organisations.
An internationally recognised speaker and thought leader, Nene has presented at global conferences across Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States, and has authored several publications advancing inclusive leadership. She serves as an Associate Lecturer at Duke Corporate Education, teaching leadership development, organisational transformation, ethical leadership and inclusion, and sits on the Board of the International Women’s Forum South Africa, where she chairs the Leadership Development Committee.
MITE is a response to a gap Nene saw in South Africa. Having spent decades transforming organisations, she recognised that the country’s greatest opportunity lies in transforming lives through practical education, entrepreneurship and vocational excellence.
For Nene, MITE is more than a training institution — it is a nation-building initiative founded on the belief that meaningful work restores dignity, creates opportunity and unlocks economic growth.
